A guardian home is a wonderful opportunity to welcome one of our dogs into your family while partnering with us in a thoughtful, responsible breeding program.
Is a guardian home right for you?
We are seeking flexible and loving families who are open to integrating one of our exceptional English Springer Spaniels into their daily lives. This program is perfect for those who desire an older puppy, past the most intensive 'puppy stage', and are willing to partner with Thunderbird Springers for a short-term breeding commitment.

As a Thunderbird Springers Guardian Home, you receive unparalleled support from our team, ensuring a smooth and rewarding experience. You welcome a dog that has already matured past the challenging early puppy months, often with basic training already established. It's an incredible way to have a high-quality dog become a cherished member of your family.
Understanding your commitment
To ensure the best for our dogs and our program, only dogs over one year of age are placed in Guardian Homes. For female dogs, they will participate in 2-3 litters before full ownership is honorably relinquished to you. Guardian families are responsible for the dog's daily care, training, and regular veterinary visits, while Thunderbird Springers covers all breeding-related expenses. We aim for a partnership built on trust and love for our Springers.
